Pixel Slate hits all-time Google Store low, starting at $549 with free keyboard

Before Google confirmed in June that it abandoned two in-development tablets, the Pixel Slate lineup dropped the entry-level Celeron models that were out of stock since launch. Since then, the Chrome OS device has been officially discounted a number of times by the Google Store. The latest offer is an all-time low of $549 and a free Pixel Slate keyboard.

Lenovo launching S340 Chromebook as Intel successor to the S330, starting at $249

Earlier this week, our Damien Wilde shared his love for the Lenovo S330 Chromebook, a budget-friendly (and ever-on-sale) favorite Chromebook. Following recent leaks, Lenovo has today announced a follow-up in the form of the S340 Chromebook, which features an Intel processor instead of MediaTek.

Google continues removing the old ‘Nest’ logo with Nest Hello

At I/O 2019, “Google Nest” was announced as the company’s new unified smart-home brand. In addition to products being renamed, Google laid out privacy commitments and account migrations. This process also involves the old “Nest” logo going away, and Google’s “G” is taking its place on the Nest Hello.
